Raise Income & Employment
We’re a B2B fintech startup based in Hyderabad, building a social enterprise that enables affordable credit access for deserving MSMEs and farmers across India. Through digital credit planning and distribution, we help lenders make smarter, more inclusive lending decisions.
Our platform acts as a ‘single source of truth’ for credit-related data, much like ERP and SCM systems did for operations in the 1980s and 1990s. We focus on driving economic growth, employment, and income generation beyond metro centers.
By delivering district-level macroeconomic insights and credit absorption appraisals, we help underwrite lender risk. This empowers development banks, state industry and agriculture departments to support lending in high-potential but underserved regions.
In partnership with public institutions, we curate actionable credit insights that enable large lenders - PSU banks, private banks, and NBFCs to expand credit distribution to where it’s most needed.
Macroeconomics-based credit planning enables development banks to forecast agriculture and MSME credit demand more accurately and efficiently year after year. It also helps define district-level credit guarantee limits to underwrite lender risk, while providing lenders with insights to prioritize high-potential districts that remain unserved or underserved.
Curated credit planning insights from development banks serve as a trusted single source of truth for state-run departments. These insights support evidence-based policymaking, enabling lenders to extend credit to deserving MSMEs and farmers within their districts—driving employment generation and increasing per capita income beyond capital cities.
These curated insights also serve as toolkits for branch expansion decisions and for scaling MSME and agricultural credit.
Leveraging econometric models and machine learning techniques, our platform identifies urban locations and rural villages with high credit absorption potential. The BCNet Economic Locator Platform uniquely assesses collective creditworthiness and facilitates connections with development bank guarantees for seamless Priority Sector Loans (PSL) Loan Issuance.
The BCNet Econometric Model generates unique data for every urban location and rural village throughout India. This data includes economic indicators of supply, demand and consumption together with potential size of loan book and collective creditworthiness. This is coupled with other hyper-localized information displayed alongside data that our customers have purchased or developed in-house.
Our platform generates Digital Business Plans at the block level and Digital Credit Plans at the village level. The Credit Expansion Assistant enables any bank or loan company to determine where to extend credit. This may be by building a new branch or to use a business correspondent network without the need for opening new branches. Monthly monitoring through digital plans helps banks efficiently meet their credit goals.
Formal credit is vital for economic growth, but India's credit distribution is uneven, resulting in sub-optimal growth of the economy, incomes and employment outside of a few cities. This emphasizes the need for improved credit distribution underpinned by hyper-localized creditworthiness indicators..
